NOTES:
Recorded primarily in 1967 (with a few tracks from 1968-
1975) in the basement of "Big Pink," a house in West Saugerties, New York, where members of The Band lived.
Dylan was recovering from his July 1966 motorcycle accident and had stepped away from touring and public life.
The sessions were informal, loose, and collaborative - Dylan and the future members of The Band (Robbie Robertson, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson, and later Le' v Helm) jamming, writing, and recording dozens of songs.
