【Album Information】
A must-have (lol) first album by the neo-acoustic band, The Bodines. This record is a UK original pressing released in 1987. They released a series of indie hits from the Creation label and then moved to a major label. This debut album was produced by Ian Broudie, but it didn't sell well, and the band disbanded... How weak is their mental fortitude?! But they reunited two years later. It's a typical "refreshing neo-acoustic" band, but thanks to Ian Broudie's production, the music is so pleasant that you can't tell if it's Care or Lightning Seeds. You might find it a bit subdued when listening on CD, but when you listen on vinyl, you can feel the calculated sound production with the enjoyable emphasis and delicate restraint.
