This is a set of 8 soup/cereal bowls and 1 lid from the “Recollection” pattern by Federal Glass Company which is re-issue of the “Madrid” pattern.
This pattern was originally produced from 1932 to 1939 by the Federal Glass Company under the name "Madrid". In 1976, Federal Glass re-issued the pattern as "Recollection" for the Bicentennial celebration, with an embossed '76 on the pieces. Later, the Indiana Glass Company acquired the molds and continued to produce the pattern, often without the "76" date.
The bowls measure 6.75”x6.75”x1.75”. The lid is 5.25” diameter and 2.5” tall including the knob.
One bowl has a small chip on the lip. Otherwise in great vintage condition.
